Meeting Victoria Aveyard!

Hi guys!
In today's post I want to talk a little bit about the signing of Victoria Aveyard, author of Red Queen, that I've been to:

I LOVE Red Queen! So when I heard that she came into a city nearby to mine you can imagine that I practically hyperventilated...

The thing was that none of my friends (who actually do read now and then) had read the book, let alone knew the author, and I got the tickets pretty much last-minute so they didn't really have the chance to read it before the signing. But I was able to convince my parents to go with me and even though at first they weren't too glad about that I think in the end they actually quiet enjoyed it:-)
The whole event took about an hour and a half and it started off with the interviewer asking Victoria a few question. The most exciting news were definitely that RED QUEEN WILL BECOME A MOVIE!!!

And also, if you haven't heard it yet, instead of 3 the series is going to have 4 BOOKS! OMG, I'm so so happy about that!!
When the whole interview and questions from the audience part was done we could go to Victoria and let our book get signed. We talked a little and she's really such a nice person and I'm not just saying that.

Okay, that's actually it! If you haven't read Red Queen yet, I can only recommend it to you. And if you have already read it, the first chapter of Glass Sword is now online! Read it and tell me what you thought about it in the comments;-)

Thanks for reading!

I MUST READ RED QUEEN SOON, and when I do, I hope I love it as much as you and everyone (or at least, almost everyone) else does!

  2. It's great that you got to meet her! I did as well early this year and she was so funny! I heard about the movie deal but not about the four book deal! That's so cool!

    1. I KNOW! OMG I am SO excited:-)
I read Red Queen just when it came out so I'm practical an early-on fan of the series. That's why it's so cool that I can experience this journey of the books and characters one book longer and probably then a year longer now :)

Thanks for commenting and following <3

  3. Red Queen is by far one of the best books I read in 2015. I can't wait for Glass Sword, I need to know what happens!
