For three days now I've had an Instagram account. - Or how we call it in the book community: BOOKSTAGRAM
What is Bookstagram?
Basically, Bookstagram is the readers side of Instagram. People who love to read post all things bookish. That can be TBRs, hauls, general author promotion, tags and sometimes even small reviews.
So if you're a fan of books, you should join!
What do I post?
My account is @on_my_bookshelf. I upload at least one piture dayly. These photos are ones I didn't really find a place for on here and now can shine in front of a big audience! (well, if that doesn't sound cheesy...). Mostly I photograph books but also landscapes and nature. I like to play with the light - especially the sun.
Why should you follow me?
Personally, I really like my photos - otherwise I wouldn't post them:-)
Also you will get all the news of my blog - and I have some pretty big events upcoming! Not to reveal too much but it has to do with the book of a certain author I've already wrote a review about;-)
Anyway, if you follow me I will definitely check out your account and there's a pretty big chance I'll follow back.

I am terrible at Bookstagram! Or Instagram in general really! I am trying to get better at it though, I am @dualreads :)
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't think bookstagram pictures have to be perfection incarnate. For me, it's more about fun and sharing my love for books and reading. As long as you feel the same way you CAN'T BE TERRIBLE! :-)
